On September 22–28, 2019, Tatyana Kedrik, senior teacher of the Department of History of Belarusian Statehood, as part of a group of Belarusian teachers and museum staff, took part in the seminar “How we work with the“ difficult ”past in educational programs: the role and activities of educational departments of memorials”. The seminar was held at the Buchenwald Memorial (Germany). Such an event was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Buchenwald Memorial and the Historical Studio (Minsk). Seminar participants got acquainted with the work of memorial institutions of Thuringia, established new professional contacts.
