Today, on June 1, a meeting was held at the BNTU Spiritual and Educational Center with the priest of the St. Elizabeth Convent in Minsk, Sergiy Faley. The event, dedicated to the feast of the Holy Trinity, brought together students interested not only in professional growth, but also in finding inner harmony.
Father Sergius began the conversation by explaining the meaning of the Feast of the Holy Trinity, one of the most important Christian holidays, which symbolizes the unity of God in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
— The Trinity teaches us unity and harmony. In our studies, as in our lives, it is important not only to strive for personal success, but also to support those around us. Together, we are stronger, both spiritually and academically.
Father Sergius also emphasized the importance of spiritual support for students during the exam period. He shared his thoughts on how to maintain mental balance in stressful times, and noted prayer as a source of strength.
— Sometimes we don't know what to do, where to go, we don't have the strength. This does not mean that you need to despair. This is just the right state to say: "Lord, I'm going to step aside, I can't do anything anymore." We've used up our resources, and now we don't have the strength to interfere with God. And in this powerlessness, we receive a solution from God, and He uses His own strength to bring it to life. You can only shrug your shoulders and say, "What was that?" It was God.
According to the priest, this approach is the key to overcoming the most difficult situations, whether in school, work, or personal life.
At the end of the meeting, Father Sergius reminded the students that every Monday from 16:00 to 17:00, they can receive spiritual support and answers to their concerns at the Spiritual and Educational Center of BNTU.
The meeting was held in a warm and trusting atmosphere, and many students expressed their desire to continue such discussions in the future.
