Master's students from the Department of Professional Education and Pedagogy at the Institute of Applied Physics from China took a fascinating tour of one of the country's most magnificent theaters, the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus.
For reference : The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, founded in 1933, is one of the oldest and most grandiose theaters in Eastern Europe, a symbol of national culture and art. The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus is renowned not only for its magnificent opera and ballet productions but also for its unique events, such as the Vocal Competition, the Christmas Opera Forum, Evenings at the Radziwill Castle , and Ballet Summer at the Bolshoi. Today, the theater also offers a tour, "The Unique World Behind the Scenes of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus," for groups.

During the tour, the graduate students, accompanied by Anna Romanova, Head of the Department of Professional Training and Pedagogy, walked through the theater's main foyers (the stalls, dress circle, and balcony foyer); visited the workshops where opera and ballet costumes and stage sets are made; peered into the auditorium and orchestra pit; visited the backstage area and props room; and descended to the mechanical department (under the stage).
A pleasant surprise for the tour participants was a mini-concert by opera soloists: Anastasia Lurikova (soprano), winner of the 2nd prize at the 1st International Glinka Performing Arts Competition (Belarus, Minsk, 2024); Ilya Berdnikov (tenor), winner of the Grand Prize and the title of laureate of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth (2024).
For master's students studying in the specialty 7-06-0111-01 "Scientific and Pedagogical Activity" in the "Pedagogy of Professional Education" profile, such immersion in the world of art, music, and theater is important, as it contributes not only to their aesthetic education, but also to their understanding of our culture and history.
