Yesterday, April 16, 2026, an online meeting with students of Secondary School No. 4 in Kostyukovichi, Mogilev Region, was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. Representatives of the Department of Mechanical Engineering's "Mechanical Science and Machine Components" connected directly with prospective students.
The online event was opened by Department Head Alla Aleksandrovna Kalina. In her opening remarks, she explored the profound meaning of the term "engineer," emphasizing that a modern engineer is not just a technical specialist, but a true creator and innovator. She spoke in detail about the critical role of an engineer in mechanical engineering.
Department Assistant Sergei Aleksandrovich Dolgy continued the presentation. He gave the students a presentation on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, detailing each of the faculty's specializations. The students saw the capabilities of BNTU's modern laboratories and training centers. A key focus was placed on the faculty's combination of a solid theoretical foundation and cutting-edge practical experience. It was also noted that BNTU graduates are in demand at leading companies both domestically and internationally. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering trains specialists skilled in digital design and additive manufacturing.
