Intercultural Communication: Students and postgraduates from the Management Department visited the Minsk Book Fair

Межкультурная коммуникация: студенты и магистранты кафедры «Менеджмент» посетили Минскую книжную выставку-ярмарку

To introduce Chinese graduate students studying in the Department of Management to the achievements of the printing industry in the Republic of Belarus and the CIS countries, a joint visit to the 33rd Minsk International Book Fair was organized with Belarusian students on March 18, 2026. The event was timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth and the Year of the Belarusian Woman.

At the site near the exhibition complex, Belarusian youth groups showcased the culture of our country in all its diversity. National Belarusian songs and folk dances inspired a positive atmosphere and fostered an understanding of the Belarusian national character.

Students and postgraduates had the opportunity to meet and interact in person at the International Quarter with representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, North Korea, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the UAE, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The Educational Quarter featured regional booths showcasing new Belarusian publications. At the themed booths, students and postgraduates had the opportunity to interact with authors and publishing representatives.

The exhibition was a highly engaging experience. Students and postgraduates eagerly shared their impressions and noted that such events contribute to the development of interstate relations and dialogue between different cultures, peoples, and countries.

The Department of Management places great emphasis on engaging Chinese postgraduates in the activities of the faculty and university by organizing joint events with citizens of the Republic of Belarus. Undergraduate and graduate students of the Management Department jointly attend national culture festivals, sports, and creative events. Intercultural communication is essential for improving the quality of professional training and a reliable tool for adapting to the new sociocultural and educational environment for foreign nationals arriving to study.
