MSF in Baranovichi: meeting with future engineers and production leaders

МСФ в Барановичах: встреча с будущими инженерами и лидерами производства

On March 4, 2026, the Mechanical Engineering Faculty (MEF) of BNTU participated in a large-scale Targeted Job Fair held at Gymnasium No. 1 in Baranovichi. This platform became an important element of dialogue between applicants, the country's leading technical university, and the region's leading enterprises.
BNTU was represented at the event by six faculties: the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Technical Sciences, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Social Sciences. Our goal was not simply to present the specialties but to demonstrate real prospects: the path from student to professional at leading Belarusian enterprises.
A distinctive feature of the fair was the active participation of representatives from the city's largest enterprises. For us, mechanical engineers, this was especially valuable, as many of these plants are our strategic partners and potential employers for future graduates.
Among the guests were:
• Baranovichi Machine Tool Accessories Plant (machine tool manufacturing and precision mechanics);
• Torgmash OJSC (equipment for trade and the food industry);
• Baranovichi Machine-Tool Plant (BSZ), a branch of Atlant CJSC (refrigeration equipment and machine tools);
• Baranovichi Automobile Unit Plant (automotive components);
• Krichevcementnoshifer, a branch of the Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Plant;
• Construction Trust No. 25 OJSC;
• Brestenergo RUP branches: Baranovichi Electric Grids and Baranovichienergostroy;
• 558 Aircraft Repair Plant OJSC (the pride of the Belarusian aircraft industry);
• Baranovichi Bus Park OJSC.
We explained to the students that the Mechanical Engineering Faculty is not just about nuts and bolts. It is about smart technologies, robotic systems, and designing the machines of the future. The presence of representatives from factories such as 558 ARZ and BSZ in the hall was the best proof of our words: an MSF diploma is a pass to the elite of Belarusian mechanical engineering.
We also spoke in detail about the benefits for graduates of specialized engineering classes. We reminded them that students who successfully complete these classes receive additional points when applying to engineering majors, including MSF programs.
Of course, prospective students were concerned about the passing score. We spoke honestly about the results of previous years, emphasizing that high-quality preparation in physics and mathematics is the key to successful admission to our faculty.
We thank the organizers and Gymnasium No. 1 for the warm welcome! We look forward to welcoming applicants from Baranovichi to BNTU. Do the right thing – apply to us!
