In the period from 23 to 27 February, the final part of the competitions of the Republican Universiade – 2025/2026 in futsal among men's teams in the strongest group "A" was held in Minsk.
For the third year in a row, the winner of these competitions is the team of BNTU. The coaches of the Polytechnic team are the teachers of the Department of "Sport" Alexander Komarov and Andrey Koshin.
According to the results of the final games, the places were distributed as follows:
1 place - Belarusian National Technical University;
2nd place - Belarusian State University of Physical Education;
3rd place - Belarusian State University.
The team of the Belarusian National Technical University was represented by Zakhar Chervyakovsky, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, Nazar Rudichenko, Ivan Rabtsevich, Arseny Popov, and Gleb Shchupachenko, students of the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, Demid Lobach, students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics, Sergey Olesik and Lev Demyanov, students of the Faculty of Sports and Technology, Fyodor Shishkin, Daniil Astafyev, and Andrey Marchenko, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Timofey Tishchenko, a student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Vladislav Sulavko, and a student of the Faculty of Transport Communications, Nikita Koltovich.
The captain of the university team, Daniil Astafyev, a student of the Sports Engineering Department, was awarded as the best player of the tournament.
