The orientation of young people in the rapidly changing world of professions for an informed choice of the future is undoubtedly an important component of personality formation. For example, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Engineering Yulia Klyausova conducted a series of talks with high school students and gymnasiums in Orsha. The events were aimed at informing high school students about professional development opportunities in the field of environmental engineering.
During the talks, the students were told the history of the Belarusian National Technical University, informed about the structural divisions and faculties. Special attention was paid to the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering, as well as the specialty offered by the Department of Engineering Ecology – "Environmental Audit and Environmental Quality Assurance".
Communication with the students took place in a lively and friendly atmosphere: the students showed sincere interest, asked various questions, which indicates their high motivation to study environmental professions and their development prospects.
Such events contribute to the formation of high school students' conscious choice of future professional activities in the field of environmental safety and engineering technologies.
