Holidays are an opportunity for active learning and new experiences as students continue to expand their horizons.
During the autumn vacation, the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering held an intellectual game "OWN GAME: FMEE" for pupils of the district specialized engineering camp "Naukograd" of educational institutions of the Pervomaisky district of Minsk on the basis of Secondary school No. 225.
The event brought together the most curious and energetic guys who are ready to test their knowledge and speed of thinking. The questions covered a wide range of topics in the field of environmental management, and the desire to win gave the game a special urgency and fascination.

Later, FMEE hosted schoolchildren at the BNTU. Anna Kishko, a lecturer at the Mining Department, told the students about underground mining. Kristina Belyak, a lecturer at the Mining Department, delved into the topic of geology and minerals in Belarus. Karina Korshun and Elena Gerasimenko, engineers of the Mining Machinery Department, held a game on the topic "Machinery and equipment in the mining industry". Galina Belskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering Ecology, immersed the students in the field of engineering ecology. There was also a guided tour of the BNTU campus and FMEE laboratories for schoolchildren.
Such meetings help to expand students' knowledge, arouse interest in science and technology, and inspire them to choose their future profession. We wish the guys new discoveries and self-confidence!
