On October 25, 2025, the staff of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics took part in the nationwide Subbotnik community clean-up. Faculty members and laboratory staff tidied classrooms and adjacent university grounds, continuing a tradition of caring for a comfortable and eco-friendly environment.
Despite the overcast weather, work moved along briskly and in sync. In the laboratories, stands and instruments were carefully wiped down and workstations put in order. Attention to the workspace also extended to the faculty’s “green corners.” Classrooms and offices refreshed their indoor greenery—watering plants and sprucing up the space—to create an even more comfortable atmosphere for study and work. The university’s coziness is built from such everyday yet important details.
Outdoors, volunteers collected fallen leaves, cleared areas around trees, and put the walkways between buildings in order. Working side by side offered a great opportunity for informal conversations and team building—everyone made a contribution they could.
For the team, the Subbotnik was not only useful but also a warm tradition. It’s a reminder that cleanliness and comfort on campus are the result of shared effort and care for the spaces where students learn and new ideas are born. The faculty thanks all participants for their work, responsibility, and the friendly atmosphere they created on this autumn day.
