The international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Belarus” is taking place at Minsk International Exhibition Center BelExpo from September 29 to October 1, 2025. Belarus". The Belarusian National Technical University actively participates in it, emphasizing its contribution to the development of the industries represented at the event.
For reference: this year, over 510 companies are participating in the exhibition, including more than 290 from 23 regions of Russia, more than 190 from Belarus and more than 30 foreign companies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan represented in the national expositions of these countries.
"INNOPROM. Belarus" is an international industrial exhibition that serves as a platform for the exchange of experience, the introduction of new technologies and the development of cooperation between business, investors and the state.
The exhibition's business program includes a plenary session with the participation of the heads of the EAEU governments, sessions on investment, innovation and export with international experts, presentations of the industrial and investment potential of the regions, as well as educational sessions for young professionals in 12 areas:
From the very first days of the exhibition, not only students, but also other representatives of BNTU have been participating in specialized sessions.
On September 30, Anastasia Arabey, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Rostislav Fedortsev, Head of the Department of Technological Equipment, and Olga Yatskevich, Professor of the Department of Technological Equipment, participated in the round table "A new approach to machine tools: prospects for the machine tool industry until 2030." The participants discussed key topics of the future of “union machine tool”, robotization and automation of production, updating the roadmap taking into account the machine tool market, digital solutions, autonomous systems, flexible modules, creation of a competence bank and an industry center, development of strategies for the development of machine tool industry until 2030.
Today, on October 1, the rector of BNTU Sergei Kharytonchyk arrived at the exhibition site to sign two agreements on strategic partnership in the field of engineering personnel training. The first one was signed with ASCON JSC and Minsk Tractor Works. It provides for the modernization of BNTU educational programs using ASCON software, the creation of conditions for the training of students and employees of MTZ, the organization of joint resource centers, and the introduction of best digitalization practices in the machine tool and machine-building industries.
– This is a strategic step aimed at the development of the company and the entire industry. We are interested in training specialists who work freely in the digital environment and know the tools of modern design, – said Ilya Firsov, Deputy General Director of MTZ, Technical Director.
A similar agreement was signed between BNTU, ASCON JSC and Amkodor Unimod JSC. The document establishes cooperation in the field of engineering personnel training and the introduction of modern digital technologies in mechanical engineering.
– These agreements with international communication have their reasons. We will not just use modern software-based training, but consider it as one aspect of our industrial program. We will be happy to teach students so that they can immediately get involved in the work process at the enterprise, master software integration, and modern digital technologies, – said the rector.
After that, Sergei Vasilyevich presented a report at the INNOPROM University: Technologies for Tomorrow's Industry, which also included master classes from leading executives and experts from industrial companies, scientific and educational centers in Russia and Belarus.
– Higher education is not just a gathering of people where knowledge is given. This, of course, means obtaining a certain level of knowledge, and we must understand that this level is achievable. This is absolutely correct, because we must understand that there is a standard and a goal, and you must reach it while studying at university. We don't develop standards for mere specialists; we develop them for a specific field of application, and together with that field, we develop all the details of this standard, – Sergei Kharytonchyk emphasized.
