Today, March 26, a delegation from Falcon Power LLC and Weichai Holding Group visited BNTU to discuss issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.

From the Belarusian side, the negotiations were attended by rector of BNTU Sergey Kharytonchyk, Deputy Rector for Academic AffairsYuri Nikolaychik, dean of the Automotive and Tractor faculty Sergei Skirkovsky, the deputy dean of International Cooperation faculty Nikolay Vishnyakov and head of the department of "Internal Combustion Engines" of theAutomotive and Tractor faculty Mikhail Ivandikov.

At the beginning, the delegation was given a presentation of the university. Sergey Kharytonchyk and Yuri Nikolaychik told in more detail about the history of the university, faculties and training of specialists, which is carried out at the Polytechnic.
-- BNTU is the largest and most important technical university in Belarus, which trains specialists for most industrial enterprises in the country, -- the rector noted.

Sergey Kharytonchyk also emphasized that an important task of the university in training personnel is teaching practical skills.
– We have a very important task – the commercialization of our results. In this case, it is a practical implementation of the scientist's ideas.

After the presentation, the delegation of the People's Republic of China and representatives of the Polytechnic began discussing the creation of a joint program for training personnel for further employment and work in enterprises.

The meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, which also sets up a training laboratory for the specialty "power plants" at BNTU and at Falcon Power LLC, a branch of the Department of Internal Combustion Engines.
