Today, October 28, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Shanghai Urban Planning Vocational Institute. The event was initiated by the Chinese side and aimed at discussing the issues of cooperation in terms of academic exchanges, university scientific research, and training specialists under joint educational programs.
The delegation included Deputy Secretary Lui Li, Director of the Institute of Digital Construction Liu Yalong, Head of the Department of Building Construction Assembly Technology Lian Xiaodan, Deputy Head of the Basic Training Department Huang Yuanyuan, Director General of SIGICOP-Bel, Chairman of China Gansu Trade and Industry Association Lu Guoping, and translator Xiao Wei.
The negotiations on behalf of BNTU were conducted by Vice-Rector for Research Ksenia Yakushenko, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Construction Sergey Kovshar and Head of the Department of International Marketing of Educational Services and Work with Foreign Students of the Faculty of International Cooperation Inna Khatskevich.
Within the framework of negotiations, the participants defined the specialties for which it is planned to carry out joint training of Chinese citizens, discussed the duration of training on the basis of each of the sides, the language of training, qualification and degree awarded according to the results of final certification.
At the end of the meeting the delegations exchanged memorable gifts and summarized their thoughts on further cooperation.
