В БНТУ стартовал Международный семинар экспертов «Декарбонизация энергетического сектора. Роль кафедр ЮНЕСКО в обмене научными знаниями»

Today, October 2, the International Expert Seminar "Decarbonization of the Energy Sector. The Role of UNESCO Chairs in the Exchange of Scientific Knowledge" opened at the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. The event is being held as part of the International Scientific Conference "Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector of the Republic of Belarus: Status and Prospects," organized by the Institute of Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Gennady Brovka, Dean of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarian Studies, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming address.

"I urge all members of the academic community to support higher education in training new candidates and doctors of science. This will improve the quality of specialist training, and we will produce even more competent specialists who will be able to plan for energy-related issues. I wish the conference participants success."

The seminar is organized into three thematic roundtables. On the first day, experts will present their papers in the following areas:

Electric Transport Development;
Renewable Energy Sources;
Energy Efficient Technologies.

The roundtable discussions will be moderated by Vyacheslav Chervinsky, Head of the UNESCO Chair in Energy Saving and Renewable Energy.

The seminar also included a poster competition, where BNTU students from various faculties presented their research findings. They demonstrated their perspectives on energy issues from their respective fields. The winners will be selected by voting.

The seminar's discussion program will last two days. During this time, the participants will not only discuss energy sector issues but also propose entirely new approaches to addressing them.

We wish the participants productive work and successful research!
