Yesterday, on September 25, 2024, in accordance with the plan of international military cooperation for 2024, the Military Technical Faculty (MTF) of the Belarusian National Technical University was visited by a military delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the capabilities of the MTF for training military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Deputy head of the Department of Military Education of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Colonel Vyacheslav Gennadyevich Khrolovich took personal participation in this meeting, which demonstrated the high level of this event.
The foreign delegation included Brigadier General Seyed Yosef Malai Andabil, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Training and Military Education of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the visit, under the leadership of the head of the Military Technical Faculty, Colonel Andrei Alexandrovich Pochebyt, the members of the delegation were presented with the educational and material base of the faculty, the latest models of weapons and equipment in service with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, training simulators on which cadets of the faculty practice driving skills of combat vehicles and trucks. In addition, the members of the delegation received answers to all their questions. Thus, the guests had a unique opportunity to see with their own eyes how the educational process at the faculty is going on.
At the end of the visit, the parties exchanged souvenirs.
This visit is an important step in establishing international military cooperation of the Republic of Belarus, which will not only strengthen peace, but also establish new cultural and economic ties.
