From Theoretical Knowledge to Practical Skills: FMME Students on Summer Internship

От теоретических знаний к практическим навыкам: студенты ФММП на летней практике

The time has come to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. Students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Precision Instruments (FMMPI) are currently undertaking internships across various types of organizations. Many have chosen to complete their internships in their hometowns, although the specific company was determined by the internship program. On July 18-19, the FMMPI leadership, along with internship supervisors from the departments, visited several organizations where the faculty's students are interning.

For example, at OJSC "Minsk Gear Plant," interns from group 1050122, Vladislav Kuchko and Artem Pryanishnikov, are working in the Chief Technologist's Department. The department supervisor is Dr. N.M. Chigrinova, Professor, and the organizational supervisor is V.S. Varaksa.

At LLC "Novamech," the technological internship is being undertaken by Pavel Sokolov, Alexander Tropilo, and Andrey Parshakov. The internship is supervised by A.K. Yushkevich from the organization. The goal of the internship is to familiarize students with production processes, material machining operations, and elements of the Automated Process Control System (APCS).

At "KOLORIT FARB OOO" - Anton Savchik is undertaking a production (organizational and economic) internship. The purpose of this internship is to familiarize students with the company’s operations, reinforce theoretical knowledge acquired from the academic curriculum, and develop skills and competencies necessary for a managerial economist. During the visit by department supervisor D.S. Emelyanenko, Anton was involved in analyzing the external environment of the organization, including suppliers, competitors, and consumers.

In the village of Gatovo, Minsk District, marketing interns Aline Skobeleva and Maxim Domovidov from the 2nd year of the Marketing program (specialty 1-26 02 03) are gaining experience at the Marketing Department of OJSC "Minsk Production Leather Combine."

In the Organization Improvement and Compensation Management Department at OJSC "Atlant," Tatiana Petrovets, the group leader from 10507121, is completing her production (organizational and economic) internship. The internship is supervised by A.A. Maksimovich from the department and E.N. Dubovik, Deputy Head of the Organization Improvement and Compensation Management Department from the organization.

At "OOO Biznes Proektirovanie" Ellina Nesterенко is completing her internship. The internship is supervised by A.P. Veres, the company's director.

Anastasia Ivanyushina, a student Group no. 10508121 specializing in "Project Management in Industrial Enterprises" (1-27 03 02), is currently interning at "GoodTime". During her internship, she has already familiarized herself with the organization, prepared an organizational and economic profile, and conducted an analysis of the economic and financial activities of "GoodTime" LLC. Anastasia is now working on her individual assignment.

Not only the management and teaching staff of the faculty clearly realize that the modern labor market is demanding the experience of young specialists, but also the students themselves. Therefore, summer internship is one of the most important components of the educational process at FMME. It is a time of testing the accumulated knowledge and gaining practical experience.
