The delegation of the Tyumen region of the Russian Federation visited the BNTU

Делегация Тюменской области Российской Федерации посетила БНТУ

Today, on February 21, representatives of the delegation of the Tyumen Region of the Russian Federation visited the Belarusian National Technical University to discuss promising areas of cooperation.

The delegation included:

  • Mikhail Pisarev, Director of the Advanced Engineering School of the University of Tyumen (UTMN);
  • Albert Kurta, Analyst at the Tyumen Region Export Support Center;
  • Dmitry Vdovin, a leading specialist of the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus.

On the part of BNTU, the meeting was attended by Ksenia Yakushenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Timur Matiushinets, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, and Andrey Kologrivko, Dean of the The Faculty of Mining and Engineering Ecology.

Ksenia Valentinovna presented information about the activities and world ratings of BNTU to the guests. The Vice-rector also noted that the leading technical university of Belarus actively cooperates with Russian universities and is ready to expand the boundaries of cooperation with them.

The members of the Russian delegation, in turn, called cooperation with Belarusian universities useful and promising. Mikhail Olegovich spoke about the directions and methods of training at UTMN, where an advanced engineering school is actively developing today, including the areas of geology, engineering of oil and gas fields.

As a result of the negotiations, Andrey Andreevich proposed to his Russian colleagues to cooperate in the following areas:

  • holding summer and winter schools;
  • personnel exchange;
  • Joint scientific research.

In the future, the parties plan fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation.
