Department : History

The Department of History specializes in conducting such courses as "History of Belarus", "The Great Patriotic War", "History of Science and Technology", "History of Belarusian Statehood", "World Culture", within which students have the opportunity not only to expand their theoretical baggage of knowledge, but also to visit museums and exhibitions.

The teaching staff of the Department of History develops the history of the university, structural divisions and scientific achievements. The department was also greatly touched in terms of patriotic education in the process of studying the main events in the history and culture of Belarus, the contribution of students and workers of BNTU to the great victory of the Soviet people over fascism. In the context of the course on the history of science and technology, the achievements of scientists from BPI-BGPA-BNTU and their contribution to the development of the industry of the Republic of Belarus are studied.

The department includes the BNTU museum, which is the final product of the educational and scientific activities of the university and its structural divisions. Almost every faculty has its own unique museum exhibits and dedicated exhibition spaces. The BNTU Museum is the pride of every BNTU employee and in the future can become a place for not only excursions, but also scientific debates, open lectures and demonstration exhibitions of scientific achievements and developments of our scientists.
