The official opening of the BNTU museum took place on September 1, 1978. Since that time, a center for memory of the successes and achievements of the university has appeared in BNTU. The BNTU History Museum performs three main tasks: preserves cultural heritage, studies it and demonstrates it to visitors. During the excursion, visitors get acquainted with the history of the creation, formation and development of the university, learn about its famous employees and graduates.
Today, the museum is actively working to complete the collection: it collects objects that correspond to the profile of the museum, with the aim of turning them into museum objects to replenish the museum collections and update the exhibition. We invite you to participate in collecting artifacts for the museum; photographs, memories, significant documents, and items related to the history of BNTU are especially valuable. First of all, the museum appeals to graduates and employees of BPI-BSPA-BNTU and members of their families with a request to help in this painstaking and very important work for the preservation of historical memory.
