UTOiOO
            The Office of Technical Support and Maintenance of Office Equipment (hereinafter referred to as the Office of Technical Support and Maintenance) carries out accounting, operational control and analysis of the state of computing, copying and duplicating equipment in the divisions and faculties of BNTU together with the departments of information and technical support of the educational process of the university divisions and faculties; develops a strategic plan for updating computing and copying equipment in BNTU divisions and innovative areas for the educational process using computing and copying equipment; determines priorities for the purchase of computer, office equipment and copying and duplicating equipment for divisions and faculties.
            Commissions, which include specialists from the Office, conduct surveys of BNTU branches, divisions and faculties aimed at improving the efficiency of using computer and office  equipment.
            Carries out an inventory of products containing precious metals (PM) within the established timeframes and, in accordance with the percentage of wear of obsolete equipment, ensures its timely dismantling after signing the Write-off Acts.
            Prepares defective acts with financially responsible persons of divisions for obsolete equipment.
            Develops plans for the delivery of DM, and ensures the fulfillment of plans for the delivery of DM to the State Fund of the Republic of Belarus, in accordance with the plans established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
Provides complete and reliable information for audits of branches, divisions and faculties of BNTU.
            The TOiOO Department coordinates the following work on requests for divisions and faculties of BNTU, as well as branches:
            • repair and maintenance of copying and duplicating equipment and office equipment upon request;
            • installation of software on computers for office equipment;
            • refilling and replacing cartridges;
            • repair and replacement of batteries in uninterruptible power supplies;
            • dismantling of obsolete equipment with subsequent collection of scrap and waste containing precious metals (DM).
            The UTOiOO includes:
            • Department for servicing computing and copying equipment;
            • Department for dismantling electronic equipment.


            UTOiOO is included in the quality management system (QMS) that meets the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2015, which is in effect at BNTU.

            The Department includes the head of the department, heads of departments and employees holding the positions of engineers, software engineers, leading software engineers, leading electronics engineers, electronics engineers, technicians of various categories, and computer operators.
