Делегация из Узбекистана приняла участие в инновационном лагере «Китай – ШОС» и закладке Аллеи Дружбы

On June 17, 2026, the II Innovation Camp of Postgraduate Students “China – SCO” started at the Belarusian National Technical University. The large-scale international scientific event brought together young researchers from the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Among its participants is the delegation of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov and the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications.

The Uzbek delegation included the Head of the Department of International Relations and Projects at TSTU, Mannanov Ulugbek Vasikovich, the Executive Director of the SBUIMPTK, Mirzaliyev Sanzhar Makhamadjon ugli, and the 3rd-year doctoral student of TSTU in the field of Automation and Management of Technological Processes, Shults Alexey Viktorovich. On behalf of BNTU, the event was attended by Elena Khodan, Director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications, and Nikolai Vishnyakov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation.

On the opening day of the forum, a plenary session was held, during which leading scientists from the SCO member states delivered lectures on current areas of engineering sciences, digital technologies, and sustainable energy. The Uzbek delegation presented the results of their own research in the field of automation of technological processes and engineering developments. The report by Alexey Shults, a doctoral student, on modern methods of managing technological processes was highly appreciated by the expert community and opened up new prospects for international scientific cooperation.

On the first day of the forum, a solemn ceremony was held to lay the foundation for the Friendship Alley of the SCO Member States, marking the 25th anniversary of the organization. Representatives from all the delegations, including the Uzbek delegation, participated in the symbolic event by planting trees in the territory of BNTU. For the delegation from Uzbekistan, this event was an important protocol moment that emphasized the republic's commitment to strengthening friendly ties and developing scientific cooperation within the SCO.

During the forum, representatives of Uzbekistan also held a number of meetings with Belarusian and foreign colleagues, discussing the possibilities for joint scientific projects and academic exchanges. Participation in the innovation camp allows Uzbek researchers not only to showcase their own developments but also to learn about the advanced research of their colleagues from other countries, expanding their professional horizons and strengthening international scientific connections.

The Belarusian National Technical University, which is organizing the forum, praised the scientific potential and activity of the Uzbek delegation and expressed hope for the further development of joint research initiatives within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
