Second- and third-year students of the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty of BNTU visited the XXXI International Specialized Exhibition "TIBO-2026"

In 2026, the forum's central theme will be artificial intelligence as a driver of technological development . This relevant and promising topic will attract the attention of a wide range of specialists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from around the world.
Four events on one site
For four days, the Minsk Arena speed skating stadium was transformed into a large-scale industry platform. Organizers combined several thematic areas: the TIBO forum itself, the HTDI forum, the "Transport and Logistics 2026" exhibition, and the E-TRANS exhibit dedicated to electric transport and related solutions. Over 70 companies and organizations presented their projects, including IT market leaders from Belarus and Russia.
IAP students eagerly explored the developments that are shaping the technological landscape of the near future. The rich business program, which included nearly two dozen thematic sections, covered topics such as industrial digitalization, artificial intelligence in science and education, big data, unmanned systems, and much more.
However, the most powerful impression was left by the exhibits that could not only be seen, but also tested.
The trip left the children with vivid emotions and gave them a powerful impetus for reflection.
"I really enjoyed seeing how technology is developing right before our eyes, " shares a third-year student. "I especially remember the demonstrations of robots that can execute commands. This inspires further development in the field of robotics."
A second-year student noted, "The exhibition is a great opportunity to understand the work of modern developers and be inspired by new ideas. It was especially interesting to learn about projects in the field of secure technologies."
A third-year student shared what she liked and remembered most: "As a future specialist, it was very important for me to see real-life cases being applied in practice. I especially liked the developments in cybersecurity and blockchain, as these technologies are currently in high demand. After the exhibition, I was inspired to delve deeper into these areas."
Speaking of the exhibition's slogan itself, it perfectly captures the atmosphere: everything was done as if the future was being created right here and now, and each of us could become part of this active process.
Attending TIBO-2026 was a vibrant and rewarding experience for BNTU IAP students, broadening their understanding of modern technologies and their role in education. The inspiration they gained from what they saw will undoubtedly inform their studies and future careers.
