The annual Republican Student Mathematics Olympiad took place on May 16 at Belarusian State University. In Group B, for technical universities, 72 students from 13 universities across the country took part. The Olympiad was held in one round, during which participants had five hours to solve written problems from various mathematical disciplines.
The BNTU team included 6 students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Energy Engineering, and the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics.
The students represented the university with dignity under the guidance of Anna Brichikova, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Higher Mathematics.
According to the results of the Olympiad:
Viktoria Udovenko, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, was awarded a 2nd degree diploma;
Vladislav Zmitrovich, a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics, was awarded a 2nd degree diploma;
Nikolay Ivanov, a student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, was awarded a 3rd degree diploma;
Ivan Krasovsky, a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics, was awarded a 3rd degree diploma;
Alexey Dranevich, a student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, was awarded a 3rd degree diploma;
Maria Yurets, a student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, was awarded a 3rd degree diploma.
