On April 24, 2026, a meeting of foreign students with representatives of law enforcement agencies and the management of the 'Polytechnic' sanatorium-preventorium was held in the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University.
The event became part of a systematic preventive work aimed at forming law-abiding and constructive thinking among students from abroad.
An officer from the Department of Administrative Practice of the Minsk Border Control Unit, D.S. Khalenkov, spoke in front of the audience. He explained in detail the norms of legal acts regulating the stay of foreign citizens in Belarus and emphasized compliance with legislation in the civil law sphere. Special emphasis was placed on cultivating law-abiding behavior among students. During the meeting, the guests were also shown a presentation that clearly illustrated the action algorithms for foreigners and stateless persons when going through various administrative procedures, including the rules for crossing the state border.
The director of the BNTU «Polytechnic» sanatorium-prophylactorium, N.I. Kusmerskaya-Myalik, spoke about employment opportunities at the institution and listed the necessary administrative steps for official employment. She invited students to visit the sanatorium to get acquainted with open vacancies, infrastructure, and the team in a real working environment.
The meeting took place in a constructive manner. The questions that foreign students asked the speakers confirmed the relevance of the topics discussed. The young people showed particular interest in the possibility of combining studies with work within their university.
