Visit to BNTU by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Belarus

On March 6, 2026, a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belarus, consisting of First Secretary Samat Shakanov and Third Secretary Aigerim Irgaliyeva, visited the Belarusian National Technical University. Representing the Polytechnic University, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation (FIC) Pavel Shirvel, and Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the FIC Ekaterina Lazuko.

The event was organized to discuss prospects for cooperation in education and science, as well as current issues related to the stay and training of BNTU students from Kazakhstan. Embassy representatives noted their interest in training specialists in mechanical engineering, engineering, energy construction, transport technology, and instrumentation.

Following this, a meeting was held with BNTU students from Kazakhstan, where they were informed about the national referendum on the draft new Constitution, which will be held in Kazakhstan on March 15, and the opportunity to participate in the vote.

Embassy representatives noted the high level of organization of the meeting and expressed satisfaction with the organization of the educational process at BNTU and the opportunities for extracurricular activities.
