Dear first-year students! You have successfully overcome the anxiety of the admissions campaign and have rightfully earned the status of students at the leading engineering and technical university of the Republic of Belarus. Having crossed the threshold of the university, you have become part of a huge, close-knit family. Years of intense yet incredibly exciting work lie ahead of you. Engineering is not just a set of disciplines; it is a unique way of thinking. You will learn to design the future, find innovative solutions, and take responsibility for results. The university will provide you with every opportunity for professional development – be curious, persistent, and boldly pursue your goals.
To senior students, I encourage you to maintain your current pace and make the most of your time studying. You have already laid a solid foundation of knowledge and understand the value of real work. Today, the real economy faces ambitious challenges in implementing innovation and technological development. It will be up to you to address these challenges in the near future. Actively engage in research, participate in practical developments, and boldly assert yourself in the creative arts, sports, and public life.
