The conference of the students' trade union of the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogics, held on March 5 in Building 20, served as a venue for reviewing the six-month work and setting future goals. Twenty-two delegates participated: representatives of each academic group within the faculty, as well as invited guests – BNTU Student Trade Union Chairman Maksim Kulik and Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work Yulia Susha.
The event's agenda included four key issues: an evaluation of the trade union bureau's work, the election of a chairperson and deputy chairperson, and the formation of a new board. The current trade union bureau's report was deemed effective, demonstrating that its work was systematic and yielding tangible results.
Following the vote, Valery Nedbalsky (group 10903124) became the chair of the Faculty's Student Union, and Margarita Maklak (group 10903124) became his deputy. Both leaders are well known for their active stance and involvement in the life of the faculty.
A full trade union committee was also formed, including representatives from all areas of student activity: the treasurer, secretary, trade union representatives for social, cultural, sports, and informational work, as well as trade union representatives for each year.
Particular attention was paid to the commendations at the conference. Representatives of the previous committee were recognized for their productive work and significant contributions to the development of the trade union: Anastasia Ivanova for her competent work as chair, and Pavel Malevich for his active work as vice chair.
The conference demonstrated that the IPF trade union organization remains an important center of initiatives that brings students together and creates a space for dialogue, support, and development. New projects, ideas, and challenges for the student community are on the horizon.
