Intellectual tournament for future engineers: meeting at BNTU

Интеллектуальный турнир для будущих инженеров: встреча в БНТУ

On February 28, 2026, the Department of Engineering Economics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering held a career guidance meeting with tenth-graders from Baranovichi. This time, the department's guests included engineering students from Secondary Schools No. 1, 17, 12, 14, and 7, as well as Gymnasiums No. 1, 3, and 4.

An intellectual and entertaining quiz called "Start Your Path to Success!" was organized for the children. The event brought together eight teams, who had to navigate eight challenging rounds, demonstrating their erudition, logic, and teamwork skills.

Intrigue was aroused from the very beginning: the team with the playful name "Smeshariki" confidently scored points in the first rounds, quickly taking the lead. It seemed their victory was just around the corner, but the biggest surprise awaited everyone in the finals. Thanks to their unity and correct answers, Team Druzhba made a breakthrough and overtook their rivals, earning a well-deserved first place.

Despite the competitive spirit, all participants emerged victorious that day. Each student received a sweet prize, a pleasant addition to the intense emotions and new knowledge. The students not only had a fun time but also had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the country's leading technical university, ask questions, and take another step toward choosing their future profession.

We believe that this visit left the students with the warmest impressions and perhaps even helped some of them decide to pursue a career in science and technology at BNTU.
