Today, on December 16, a significant event took place to strengthen ties between science and industry – the grand opening of the joint educational center of the Belarusian National Technical University and JSC "Amkodor-Unimod". The event brought together the university's management, representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the company and students.

Among the distinguished guests at the event were Rector of BNTU Sergei Kharytonchyk, Director of JSC "Amkodor-Unimod" Andrei Levshukov, and Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty Anastasia Arabey.

Sergey Kharytonchyk addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted that the establishment of the center provides students with a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge using world-class equipment and this will allow future specialists to confidently compete in the international labor market. According to the rector, this approach to training, based on close integration with production, is the key to the formation of highly qualified engineering personnel.
Sergey Kharytonchyk also thanked the company's management for developing a strategic partnership.

Andrey Levshukov thanked the university's management and all those involved in the creation of the center for their well-coordinated work and the opportunity to train specialists :in the company's actual production facilities:
– We'd be delighted to see each of you here, participating in educational programs, practical training, and, of course, as promising engineers and managers. We remember and know that modern technologies allow and should ensure, among other things, rapid career advancement.

The distinguished guests cut the red ribbon, after which all participants were given a presentation on the new center's capabilities. It is equipped with modern equipment and specialized software that is directly linked to the company's technological processes. This will allow students to work on real-world projects: from digital modeling of components to their production in the workshops.

The event ended with a guided tour of the production facilities, led by the company's director, who demonstrated to guests the latest technologies implemented in production.

The opening of the center marked an important step in the development of practice-oriented education at BNTU and the strengthening of long-term cooperation with one of the country's leading mechanical engineering companies.
