On October 29, 2025, the «InterStart at BNTU 2025» presentation event was held in the auditorium of the main building. The purpose of the meeting was to help foreign students adapt. The students learned about the history of the university, its structure, scientific fields, student associations, and events that make the university not only a place for knowledge acquisition but also a center for active youth life.
The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the 33rd City Student Polyclinic. They provided detailed information about the rules for staying in the country, emergency procedures, and medical assistance options.
BNTU staff also prepared presentations: Belaya E.V., head of the Department of Artistic Creativity at the DCA of BNTU, presented to students the university's cultural initiatives, creative circles and events in which they can participate; senior lecturer at the STF Borovok O.A. told about sports sections and competitions available to all comers; head of the socio-pedagogical and psychological service Pylinskaya N..A. explained to the children where to turn for psychological support and stressed the importance of social adaptation in a new environment; representatives of the communities of Russia and Turkmenistan Skipor M.I. and Sapargeldieva G. told about the events and the student council of the Federal Migration Service.
At the end of the event, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, N.V. Vishnyakov, spoke in detail about the academic discipline and the examination session.
Such meetings are an important element in creating a comfortable and friendly environment for international students. They help not only to better understand the structure and opportunities of the university, but also to feel like part of the large and united student family of BNTU.
