Today, on August 1, as part of the development of international partnership, the Belarusian National Technical University is hosting a delegation from Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. The foreign university is represented by Rector Sadritdin Turabdzhanov and Head of the Department for the Coordination of Joint Educational Programs Murodjon Pulatov.

The delegation's visit will last until August 4, and today representatives of the Uzbek University visited the BNTU Center for Technical Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Machines, got acquainted with the university's educational program and discussed the possibilities of exchanges, joint programs and research projects.

After the excursion, negotiations took place, at which BNTU was represented by Rector Sergey Kharytonchyk, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel. Following the discussion, the parties proceeded to signing documents on cooperation.
- Our university traditionally develops relations with the Tashkent State Technical University. This is our long-term, proven and very important strategic partner in Uzbekistan. We discuss not only those areas that are already being implemented, but also new ones.Within the framework of the upcoming academic year, we will see where we could intensify our cooperation, in what new areas. In addition to the fact that we signed an agreement and a roadmap, we also discussed a number of areas of our bilateral cooperation, which concerns both scientific activities and, very importantly, the education of youth, sports, and the interaction of our sports teams, - noted Sergey Kharytonchyk.
