Today, November 12, a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan was received at the Belarusian National Technical University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss issues of prospective cooperation.
The foreign delegation included Honorary Professor of BNTU, Head of the Department of International Relations and Protocol of Tashkent State Technical University Ulugbek Mannanov, Executive Director of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications (JBUIIATQ) Azibek Bakhodirov, Head of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Scientific Project IL-481091578 "Intellectual Mobility: Institutional Modeling of the Internationalization of Education" Yashin Ismadiyarov, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Systems of JBUIIATQ Jakhongir Bogatov.
The interests of the Belarusian side were represented by Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Head of the Department of International Programs, Exchanges and Protocol of the Faculty of International Cooperation Anastasia Volkova.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the implementation of joint cultural events, scientific projects, academic exchange, organizing of internships and summer schools for the faculty and students of both universities.
As part of the visit, a meeting of the delegation with students of joint educational programs of BNTU was also organized.
