– On behalf of the Embassy, I would like to congratulate the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of BNTU on the tenth anniversary of its establishment. Confucius institutes are a very important bridge for the rapprochement of our peoples. We see that in a short 10 years, the BNTU Confucius Institute for Science and Technology has become one of the best and will continue to develop further. That is why I want to once again congratulate the institute on the holiday and wish great success on its way.

At the beginning of the festive concert, Sergey Kharitonchik addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
– For 10 years, our Confucius Institute has achieved great success. This is evidenced by the well-established educational system of teaching Chinese, and the organization and holding of numerous events, competitions, exhibitions, and the recognition of our institute in 2017 as the best institute of the year. It entered the top 100 partners of the Chinese Language Union and received the award "Exemplary Institute for Teaching Chinese in Belarus".
I am very pleased with the success achieved by the Confucius Institute over its 10 years of operation. Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, the leadership of our Chinese partner university, Northeastern University, for their support and assistance, and to all employees of the Institute for your contribution to the dissemination of the Chinese language and culture of China in the name of strengthening friendship between our two nations.

The festive concert became a real focus of the beauty and versatility of Chinese culture. We express our gratitude to all the guests for participating in the celebrations and look forward to new meetings within the walls of the Belarusian National Technical University!
