On Friday, September 13, 2024, the Belarusian National Technical University was visited by a military delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the capabilities of the Military Technical Faculty for training military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Among the honored guests at the meeting was the Deputy head of the Department of Military Education of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Colonel Vyacheslav Khrolovich.

The visit took place in accordance with the International Military Cooperation Plan for 2024. During the event, the head of the Military Technical Faculty, Colonel Andrei Pochebyt, showed the guests how training sessions for cadets of the faculty are held, and presented the educational and material base of the faculty to the members of the delegation. The guests were also shown the latest models of equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.


Then there was a conversation between representatives of the Belarusian and Uzbek delegations, during which the members of the foreign delegation received answers to all their questions. At the end of the visit, the parties exchanged souvenirs.


The meeting was a very important step in establishing international military cooperation of the Republic of Belarus, which will not only strengthen peace and cooperation between the countries, but also establish new cultural and economic ties.
