Today, August 20, a delegation from the China Technology Development and Specialist Exchange Company visited the Belarusian National Technical University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the prospects of academic and scientific-technical cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the PRC representatives were familiarized with the activities of the Scientific and Technological Park BNTU "Polytechnik". The attendees were told about the significant medical developments of the organization in the field of cardio-vascular surgery and traumatology by the manager for innovative entrepreneurship support of the BNTU Scientific and Technological Park "Polytechnic" Maxim Zhurkevich.
– We are working in the field of traumatology all over Belarus. For more than 20 years, the technopark has been producing products for fixing fractured bones, and thanks to a strong school of materials scientists, we annually improve these products. For example, about 2,000 people are already walking with our prostheses," Maxim Vasilyevich noted.
The guests also learned about the testing laboratory of medical products, where not only the developments of the technopark are checked, but also all medical products used in Belarus. They got acquainted with the principle of operation of such developments as endovascular implantable stent grafts for the abdominal aorta, an acoustic system for endovascular ablation, a reservoir for collecting wounded discharge and many other projects.
Then the parties began negotiations. During the visit, the interests of the Belarusian National Technical University were represented by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel and a leading specialist of the faculty Sergey Borisevich.

At the beginning of the negotiations, representatives of the People's Republic of China shared their impressions about the results of the Technopark's work. Ne Shenkui noted that such developments are of great benefit to the society and promote the socio-economic development of Belarus.
Then Yuri Alexandrovich made a presentation of the Belarusian National Technical University. He told about the history of the creation and development of the university, its mission, the implementation of the educational program "University 3.0", as well as about the enterprises, the origins of which were the educational institution. He noted that BNTU is the only national university in Belarus, and explained that the university plays a special role in ensuring the vital activity of Belarus.
The PRC representatives told about the subtleties of the state educational system and put forward for discussion the issues of international scientific exchange of employees and students.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts. We thank the delegation of China Technology Development and Specialist Exchange Company for the visit and hope for further cooperation.
