On Tuesday, July 2, the signing ceremony of agreements on the implementation of a joint master's degree program between the Belarusian National Technical University and Chinese universities took place.
For reference: in recent years, cooperation BNTU with Chinese educational institutions has been developing quite intensively and turning into a full-fledged partnership: the BNTU has established the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology, joint bachelor's degree programs on models "4+0" ,"2+2" have been developed and successfully implemented , Master's degree programs are being developed, Chinese students come to BNTU for internships and participation in summer schools.
On the part of BNTU, Rector Sergey Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Head of the Department of the Faculty of International Cooperation Inna Khatskevich attended the online meeting.
The higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China were represented at the meeting by Wang Huiwu, President of Hope Education Group; Chen Emei, Rector of the Hope Institute of Southwestern Jiaotong University, Zhou Yu, Rector of Guizhou Qiannan University of Economics Pan Xin, Rector of Guizhou Qiannan University of Science and Technology, Meng Zhaohuai, Rector of Yinchuan Energy University, as well as Rector of the Institute of Entrepreneurship of the University of Inner Mongolia Bao Guangcai.
The event was hosted by Han Wenyuan, director of the founding company of the CHUO International Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, and Zhang Pengfei, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the said institute was the translator.
After the speech of each side, the solemn signing of agreements on the implementation of a joint master's degree program between universities took place. They provide training in China, followed by the development of an educational program at BNTU, after which the specialist will receive an international diploma. The universities plan to cooperate closely in this area and actively implement the tasks set.
