The III International Student Theoretical and Practical conference «Language – Society – Culture», organized by the Department of the Faculty of International Cooperation «Belarusian and Russian languages» was held on May 16, 2024. The conference was attended by more than 100 Belarusian and foreign students, students of the preparatory department of FIC, undergraduate and postgraduate students from Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Congo and other countries. In two formats – full-time, as well as online, participants made presentations in Russian, Belarusian, English and Chinese languages.
The plenary session focused on the culture of Belarus and Uzbekistan, the origin of Russian business writing, translation problems, the peculiarities of cooperation between Belarus and China in the field of education. The conference worked in seven sections devoted to actual issues of linguistics, literature and cultural studies, as well as actual problems of the Belarusian language and culture, Chinese language and culture. At the end of the conference students were awarded with diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree. The best reports will be published in the electronic collection of conference materials.
