Yesterday, on April 11,2024 representatives of the BNTU took part in the Republican action "Let's restore forests together" on the territory of the Vileysky experimental forestry.
For reference: the campaign runs from March 23 to April 20, 2024 in all regions of the country and is timed to coincide with the Year of Quality. Everyone can take part in it and for this you need to contact the nearest forestry institution and forestry, where you will be provided with planting material and a site for planting forest crops will be indicated.
This is not the first time that the Belarusian National Technical University has joined such events. The restoration of forests by the leadership and students has become a good tradition. Every year, new generations of students join it, who want to contribute to the beauty of their native country.
On the territory of the Vileysky forestry, the rector of BNTU Sergei Kharytonchyk, the deputy rector for educational work of BNTU Timur Matiushinets, the head of the department of educational work with youth of BNTU Irina Gud, the deputy head of the Republican Volunteer Center Elena Golovan, the methodologist of the Republican Volunteer Center Naina Buzenok, as well as an active student youth structures and the Volunteer Center of BNTU took part in the planting of the forest.
Thanks to the efforts of representatives of our university, more than 1.6 hectares of new forest have been restored. Such a significant result shows that BNTU cares about the environment and the preservation of natural resources.
