Open Doors Day at the joint Belarusian-Uzbek Interdisciplinary Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent

День открытых дверей в Белорусско-Узбекском межотраслевом институте прикладных технических квалификаций в Ташкенте

On March 16 the Open Day in joint Belarusian-Uzbek interindustry Institute of applied technical qualifications took place. More than 2700 applicants and their parents from 90 secondary schools and lyceums of Tashkent city and Tashkent region visited the Institute from 10-00 till 19-00. Among the guests of honour were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan L. A. Marinich, Minister-Counsellor and Economic Secretary of the Embassy, Vice-Rector of the Tashkent State Technical University Professor U. V. Mannanov, representatives of industrial enterprises of Tashkent and Belarusian Cultural Centre in Tashkent "Svitanak", teachers of schools and higher schools. 
The event included an exhibition of the Institute and a summarizing ceremony for a student contest of innovative projects and cash prizes. Ambassador L. Marinich addressed to the applicants with the welcoming speech. The director of the Institute I. Gancherenok made a presentation about BNTU. The ensemble of the Belarusian Cultural Centre has created an unforgettable atmosphere of the Belarusian music and culture. Participants of the event left the Institute with a very pleasant question for the organizers: "When can I apply for admission to the Institute? 
For reference: The Institute was established in November 2019 by Presidential Decree. At present, it has about 700 students in the 1-2 course.
