The department is graduating and trains environmental engineers-managers in the specialty "Environmental Management and Audit in Industry". The newly created Department of "Engineering Ecology" united educational, educational, methodological and scientific developments and directions of the departments of ecology and chemistry. The department has a modern technical and educational base, which includes ten educational and two research laboratories equipped with modern educational equipment and a computer class. The training program provides for the study of both basic engineering disciplines and modern information technologies, methods for solving environmental and management problems, economics and organization of production management, environmental management, methods for modeling environmental processes, economic, legal and organizational aspects of environmental management. A branch of the department was established at the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus". The branch of the department is a structural subdivision of the department, carrying out educational, methodological and research work among students, as well as training scientific and pedagogical personnel and improving their qualifications.
