Morzak Galina

Graduated D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Moscow with a degree in «Chemical technology of solid fuels». In 1991, she defended her Ph.D, thesis at IPIPRE NASB.

Galina Morzak has been working at the department since 1996. Since 1998 as an associate professor. In 2011-2017 hold a position of the head of the department. From 2017 as assistant professor at the department. A qualified specialist in the field of environmental management and audit in industry, environmental chemistry, environmental certification of enterprises, environmental safety of enterprises.

Scientific direction - physical and chemical processes in the environment, management of environmental risks and environmental safety of industrial enterprises; environmental certification and evaluation of the effectiveness of the functioning of the environmental management system at the enterprise.

Morzak is one of the main developers of programs, a course of lectures, laboratory work and practical exercises in the disciplines “Protection of the population and economic facilities in emergency situations. Radiation safety”, “Physical and chemical processes in the environment”, “Organization of environmental control and environmental audit of the enterprise”, “Environmental risk management”, “Environmental safety management of the enterprise”, “Organization of environmental activities at the enterprise”. She also worked on the creation of a training plan and a standard for the 1st stage of higher education in the specialty 1-57 01 02. "Environmental management and audit in industry" and the 2nd stage of higher education in the specialty 1-33 80 01 "Ecology".

Galina Morzak has more than 300 scientific papers, including: 6 monographs, 39 study guides (including those with the stamp (classification code) of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and UMO), 9 EUMK.

Constantly takes part in the implementation of the SPNI topics. She also participates in international projects:

1. Tempus 517346-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-SE-TEMPUS-JPCR «Establishing modern master-level studies in industrial ecology».
2. Horizon 2020, MSCA-RISE People for the European Bio-energy Mix «PHOENIX».

Scientific and pedagogical activity of Morzak G. is closely related to the successful involvement of students and undergraduates in scientific research and creative development. The results of research work are constantly presented and reported at republican and international conferences, participate in the Republican competition of works of students of universities of the Republic of Belarus, have repeatedly been winners with the award of a laureate and 1-3 categories.
