The "eviction" of students from dormitories

О “выселении” студентов из общежитий

Dear students and parents!

Today, the info about the immediate eviction of students from the 18th dormitory began to come to our hotline.

To clarify this issue, we contacted Oleg Konstantinovich Gusev, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, and asked him to comment on this.

«The university closely monitors the sanitary and epidemiological situation and focuses on the recommendations of the health authorities. Currently, there is no question of any mass eviction of BNTU students from dormitories, including from the 18th dormitory. The current issues of living in dorms are solved quite a lot daily. With the introduction of managed independent work at the BNTU using ICT, questions are coming from individual students and their parents about the possibility of continuing the educational process at the place of permanent residence. In this situation, the faculty leadership may inform students about the possibility of continuing the educational process at the place of residence in the interests of the student. Such questions were a month ago, and there are now. If one of the students is obliged to leave the dorm, please inform the administration and me personally to resolve this issue.

I also want to thank those who turn directly to the university leadership or the hotline, and do not “spread” rumors».

P.S. We want you to know that all official information that comes directly from the university’s management appears on the university’s news portal, in the telegram and Instagram of BNTU. Please monitor it and not disseminate unverified information that comes from unofficial sources in advance. Such info may be false!
