Today, July 11, the Belarusian National Technical University held an open meeting of the Admissions Committee for the 2026 general and specialized higher education programs under targeted programs. The results of the admissions process for those who chose the engineering path with a guaranteed entry into the profession after graduation were announced.
For reference: targeted admission to BNTU is not just a competition, but a dialogue between the university, industry, and young talent. This year, the Ministry of Education allocated 487 places to BNTU for targeted training, with 510 applications submitted. Admissions were made for 30 specializations and 57 specializations.
The presidium included the Chair of the Admissions Committee, BNTU Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, the Deputy Chair of the Admissions Committee, First Vice-Rector Andrei Safonov, and the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Director of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Education and Education Monitoring Natalia Afanasyeva. During the meeting, the Admissions Committee members shared the qualifying scores, competition details, and selection criteria, and unanimously decided to admit the applicants.
The list of admitted applicants is available on the Admissions Committee website. This year's targeted admissions confirmed the high interest of applicants in engineering fields.
Congratulations to the students on their admission and wish them a vibrant student life at the Belarusian National Technical University!
P.S. Tomorrow, July 12, BNTU will begin accepting documents for tuition paid for by the national budget. Applicants who submitted documents for targeted tuition but were not selected can withdraw their documents and participate in the competition as usual.
