Question – answer for the applicant. Part 2

Вопрос – ответ для абитуриента. Часть 2

 We continue to answer the frequently asked questions of applicants so that the admission period goes without problems.

 — How is the enrollment of medalists in the most in-demand specialties of the economy at BNTU?

Holders of gold and silver medals, as well as graduates with diplomas of vocational or secondary special education with honors, also have their own preferences when applying to higher education institutions.

 When applying for teaching positions, they must provide the following documents:

  • application to the rector of BNTU in the form established by the Ministry of Education;
  • document of education;
  • medical certificate on the state of health in the form established by the Ministry of Health;
  • document of identity recommendation of the pedagogical council of the educational institution.

When applying for the most in-demand specialties in the economy, as well as for universities outside of Minsk, medalists and high school graduates are admitted without entrance exams and without additional recommendations. However, it is worth noting that this rule does not apply to specialties in the fields of healthcare, international relations, law, oriental studies, as well as those where the profile test is "Creativity" or "Physical Culture and Sports".

— Does BNTU have an electronic queue for submitting documents?

Yes, BNTU has an electronic queue system. The first method is to make a pre-registration online via the RIKZ website. As a reminder, starting from July 6, applicants can book a date and time for their visit to the Admissions Office through their personal account as a CE/CT participant. This service is available for applicants in the main deadlines and only for participants of the 2025 and 2026 CE/CT. On the appointed day, you need to come to the classroom 501 of the main building (65 Nezavisimosti Avenue) with a full package of documents and a coupon obtained on the RIKZ website. In the classroom, an application is filled out, after which the applicant is sent to the admissions office of the selected faculty.

 The second method is the internal electronic queue of BNTU. This is a new feature that will be available starting from July 12, 2026. It is designed for those who have not registered through the RIKZ and provides a live queue on the day of the visit. The applicant arrives at the main building, takes a ticket through a touch screen, and proceeds to the auditorium on the third floor, where they wait for an invitation while monitoring the display. After the invitation, he fills out an application in the classroom and goes to the faculty's admissions office with a complete set of documents.

— Is it possible not to change the coupon if the desired specialty has changed, but in the same faculty?

It is advisable to change the coupon, as the RIKZ electronic queue system generates a specific data package (university, faculty, specialty) that the admissions office can see. If the specialty has changed, it is best to cancel the old coupon and book a new one.

— Is it possible to transfer from Tajik Technical University to BNTU?

Yes, this is possible. For many years, BNTU has successfully operated a joint engineering and technical faculty of BNTU-TTU with Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. S. Osimi. Continuation of studies in Minsk is guaranteed at the interstate level, as the program is built on an integrated system: the first part of studies takes place in Dushanbe, and the second part takes place in Minsk. This integration allows students to study according to agreed curricula, successfully adapt to a new country and eventually receive a sought-after diploma from a leading technical university in Belarus. BNTU is happy to welcome international students in Minsk and is ready to provide all the conditions for studying and a comfortable life.

Before leaving for Minsk, the student must submit an application to the TTU Dean's office and personally collect a package of documents. Please note that medical certificates have a strict validity period, so they must be issued shortly before departure. The list of documents includes the following:

  • certificate or diploma with an attachment – the original document of previous education (school/college) with a list of all subjects studied and grades;
  • academic certificate – official document from TTU with your current grades and hours for the courses taken;
  • order of transfer to BNTU;
  • medical certificate on health – general form confirming the absence of contraindications for study;
  • medical certificate on the absence of HIV infection – certificate from RT is valid only 1 month from the date of issue;
  • the certificate of completion of fluorography is valid for 6 months.
