Admissions are always nerve-wracking. It seems like an endless stream of paperwork, certificates, and queues lies ahead. But if you break this complex process down into clear steps, everything becomes crystal clear. To save you from unnecessary stress and paperwork confusion, we've prepared a step-by-step guide that will lead you straight to your BNTU student ID card.
Step 1: Choose a Major
It all starts with choice. BNTU has launched a new, in-demand major in 2026. The university offers over 50 majors across 16 faculties, from Automobile and Tractor Engineering and Mechanical Engineering to Architecture and Military Engineering.
Review the admissions targets, the list of majors, and the passing scores from previous years—this will help you understand the real picture. Step 2. Collecting Documents
This step must be approached with the utmost care. The following documents must be submitted to the Admissions Committee:

Important! For applicants to distance learning programs, military-technical faculty applicants, and other categories of applicants, there are some nuances in the list of documents to be submitted that should be checked.
Step 3. Check the deadlines
The 2026 admissions campaign at BNTU began on June 27. However, deadlines vary for different groups of applicants. It's best to check the official schedule in advance and avoid leaving your submission until the last day. Step 4. Submit your documents to the Admissions Committee
Bring your completed application package and come to the main building of BNTU. Volunteers will help you navigate the application and advise you on where and what to fill out. Important! If the applicant is a minor, they must be accompanied by a legal guardian to sign the training contract.
Step 5. Pass internal exams (if required)
For most majors, the Centralized Testing and Centralized Expertise (CT and CE) certificates are sufficient. However, for some programs (such as architecture and creative arts), additional internal tests at BNTU are required. Check in advance whether this applies to you. Step 6. Monitoring the Admissions Process (Monitoring)
Your documents have been submitted, and the waiting period has begun. The Admissions Committee website has a dedicated resource that provides real-time information on the application process. The table is updated several times a day, allowing you to monitor the competition, assess your chances, and see how many people have applied for your major. Step 7. Evaluating Your Options if You Don't Have Enough Points
As the application deadline approaches, you can use the monitoring system to assess your chances of receiving a state-funded scholarship. If you don't have enough points, don't panic. Discuss the possibility of paid tuition with your parents or consider related programs where competition is lower. The key is to make informed decisions and not act under stress.
Step 8. Move into the dorm
Once the admission order is published, you can breathe a sigh of relief and prepare for assembly. If you're from out of town, arrange housing in advance: dorm accommodation is available to every first-year student in need during their first year. To secure a place, you'll need to gather a set of documents (the list will be available in August) and submit them to the dean's office according to the schedule.
