From 17 to 19 June 2026, Minsk's BELEXPO exhibition centre hosted the third International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security. Belarus – 2026".
More than a conventional trade show, the event served as a congress-and-exhibition platform designed to foster dialogue on cutting-edge security concepts, facilitate the exchange of technological know-how in special equipment and armaments, and present high-tech innovations and turnkey solutions aimed at enhancing the technical capabilities of law enforcement and other state security agencies. The overarching goal: to support Belarus’s state policy on national security.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, and Taalatbek Masadykov, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The exhibition was structured around several thematic clusters:
– special technical equipment for law enforcement and intelligence services, including police vehicles and gear;
– information and digital security technologies for the state;
– anti-terrorist protection systems for vulnerable facilities, including the "Safe City" concept;
– border security technical systems;
– technologies for preventing industrial accidents and natural disasters, and for managing emergency response;
– specialised fire safety equipment;
– disaster medicine hardware and components;
– industrial and environmental safety solutions.
The business programme was equally robust, with panel discussions covering technical information protection, industrial cybersecurity amid accelerating digitalisation, defence-economic cooperation among CSTO member states, emergency safety protocols, the implementation of state scientific and technical programmes, and civil defence measures against natural and man-made threats.
The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus made a strong showing, presenting some 20 innovative developments. These were featured at a joint ministry stand organised by the Belarusian National Technical University, with contributions from BNTU itself, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State Technological University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, and Belarusian-Russian University.
