We invite you to visit the Tea for Peace Harmony 2026 festival

Фестиваль «Чай для гармонии мира» пройдет в Минске 13 июня

Tomorrow, June 13, the Tea for Peace Harmony Festival will be held on Freedom Square. We invite you to attend a large-scale cultural event dedicated to the Chinese tea tradition, where the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of the BNTU will also take part.

For reference: The Tea for Peace Harmony Festival is not just a celebration of Chinese culture, but a real bridge of friendship between Belarus and China. It brings together masters of traditional arts, musicians, dancers, acrobats, chefs and all those who appreciate live communication, the beauty of rituals and the wisdom of centuries-old traditions. The main purpose of the event is to show how mutual understanding between nations is born through the tea ceremony, calligraphy, martial arts and cooking.

The BNTU Confucius Institute of Science and Technology will present its interactive booth, where anyone can try their hand at calligraphy and coloring masks of the Beijing Opera.

The interactive platforms will begin their work at 13:00, the official opening is scheduled for 13:30 and will take place on the main stage.

Visitors will be able to taste traditional Chinese dishes: dumplings, fried rice in Yangzhou style, bubble tea, zongzi and other treats. The Chinese Cultural Center and the Confucius Institutes of universities will hold interactive classes on calligraphy, painting, paper cutting, Tai Chi and other arts.

Tea ceremonies, tea sales, and demonstrations of the intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province (burning gourds, New Year's engravings, and the Wanfu tiger) will also be organized.

The gala concert will be held from 13:30 to 15:30 and from 20:00 to 22:00 and will allow the audience to see firsthand the performances of the Henan Opera and Dance Group, Henan Acrobatic Group and Shaolin Martial Arts Center. The Belarusian side will be represented by the State Academic Dance Ensemble and the Khoroshki Choreographic Ensemble.

The program will also include Shaolin wushu, acrobatic performances, folk dances, national music, as well as joint productions.

Don't miss the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the Celestial Empire with BNTU!
