MINSK – The highly anticipated international specialized exhibition BELAGRO 2026 kicked off yesterday, June 2, at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. This flagship agricultural forum has drawn significant interest from industry professionals, agricultural scientists, business leaders, and specialists involved in the production and supply of farm machinery and equipment.
The exhibition offers a strategic platform for forging new partnerships, identifying emerging trends in the agribusiness sector, facilitating knowledge exchange, and showcasing cutting-edge products and innovations.
Tuesday’s official opening ceremony was attended by a host of distinguished guests, including Yuri Shuleiko, Deputy Prime Minister, Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Yuri Gorlov, Minister of Agriculture and Food, Andrei Kuznetsov, Minister of Industry, Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, and Ahmad Saidmuradzoda, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

The exhibition features an extensive display of fertilizers, plant protection agents, fertilizer application equipment, crop spraying technology, grain harvesting and forage equipment, land reclamation machinery, and specialized harvesters for potatoes, sugar beets, and other vegetables. Agricultural products, machinery, and equipment are presented in an integrated technological chain that incorporates modern energy-saving solutions across production, processing, transport, storage, and distribution.
A total of 575 companies are taking part in BELAGRO 2026, representing Belarus, China, the DPRK, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Oman, Palestine, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus is showcasing nearly 30 innovative developments. These are on display at the Ministry’s collective booth, organized by the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). Participants include BNTU (featuring innovations from the Science and Technology Park of BNTU “Polytechnic”), Belarusian State Technological University, Belarusian State University, and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
