The Department of "Social Management" held a university-wide political science olympiad on May 22, 2026. The event took place at the BNTU Scientific Library.
A total of 22 teams, consisting of four people each, participated in the university-wide olympiad, totaling 88 students. The teams were formed on a voluntary basis. The largest number of teams came from FTUG. The organizers and jury members were: Head of the Department L. N. Semenova and the department's lecturers: O.I. Ermak, E.A. Komissarova, A.K. Dubovik, M. K. Klimko, E. G. Vainilovich.

The Olympiad aimed not so much to test, but to deepen students' knowledge in the field of political science, to promote the development of skills in analyzing political events and processes, and to identify trends in contemporary socio-political development. The Olympiad consisted of two rounds. In the first round, team participants had to demonstrate their analytical abilities in writing by completing a series of written tasks. Half of the teams advanced to the second round. The second oral part was aimed at assessing the level of knowledge of the legal norms enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
As a result of the olympiad, first place was won by the EF team "Session Rescue Committee" (Parepko V., Yurets M., Maslovsky E., Zolotukhin N., group 10602225). Second place was taken by the EF team "Hell Drill" (Burachevsky E., Bezborodko R., Myat E., Turetsky I., group 10604225). Third place was taken by the FTUG team "Analysts" (Arakcheev I., Masyuk U., Yakovets A., Pushilo I., group 10806125).
The olympiad was held at a high organizational level. All participants demonstrated an interest in understanding socio-political processes, deep knowledge, analytical skills, unconventional thinking, creativity, and ingenuity.
