Spring is a time of renewal, energy, and vibrant student events. Yesterday, May 15th, a large-scale sports and educational event, "Vivat, Squad!", was organized and held at Dormitory No. 16. The Student Council of the dormitory served as the organizer. The event brought together the most disciplined and proactive students whose daily work involves maintaining law and order. The Volunteer Squad of Dormitory No. 16 of BNTU actively participated. "Vivat, Druzhina!" is an annual, comprehensive festival and competition that combines elements of sports competitions and psychological training. It's not a rigorous exam, but a dynamic, interactive platform. It was created to recognize the achievements of the best activists, test their teamwork skills, and provide an opportunity to channel pent-up energy into peaceful, creative pursuits.
Here's how it all went: The event opened with a formal assembly and general formation. An independent jury was introduced, and the teams were fully prepared, demonstrating a high level of fighting spirit. Representatives of the faculty administration and the Student Council addressed the participants with welcoming remarks. They noted the importance of the team's work and wished everyone a fair fight. After the official part and mandatory safety briefing, the main competition began. Emotions soared: smiles lit up the participants' faces, and the mutual support within the teams demonstrated that there was no room for personal gain—only the shared result.
The day's program was meticulously planned, leaving no time for the participants to rest. The organizers structured the event as a large-scale competition: the volunteers were divided into several teams, each of which had to complete a series of complex and varied challenges. To win the title of best, the boys had to use not only physical strength but also logic. Physical fitness is the foundation of any volunteer. In this part of the competition, the teams faced a whole range of dynamic athletic challenges: relay races, speed runs with an obstacle course that demanded maximum endurance, strength tests, and coordination exercises where the result depended on the synchronicity of the entire team.
Working in the Volunteer Squad requires the ability to think ahead and make quick decisions. The organizers prepared an intellectual and educational section specifically for this purpose: a thematic quiz : testing knowledge of regulatory legal acts, internal regulations, and first aid basics. Throughout the day, the competition was uncompromising. However, the rivalry remained entirely friendly. Each successful completion of a stage was accompanied by thunderous applause from the competitors.

At the same time, volunteers who made a significant personal contribution to maintaining law and order and security in the dormitory were recognized, and honorary certificates were presented to the applause of their colleagues. The dormitory Student Council thanks the Volunteer Squad for their daily, responsible work and for their active participation in the competition, demonstrating a strong team spirit. The awards ceremony concluded with a powerful sign of appreciation: with a huge, unanimous applause, the volunteers thanked the organizers, represented by the Student Council, for the high-quality organization of the event.
